• WIKE VOWS TO PROBE KILLING

-          Gov. Nyesom Wike has visited Yeghe community in Gokana LGA and Bori, where many people died in the gun duel between soldiers and some former militants.

-          The soldiers, who acted on a tip-off, invaded Ndigbara’s countryhome in Yeghe to arrest him over alleged gunrunning, but met stiff resistance.

-          The sporadic shooting later spread to Bori, where some people were also killed.

-          The governor, accompanied by the Rivers State Police Commissioner, Mr Musa Kimo and other top government officials vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice.
