234 MATRICULATE AT NIGERIA’S FIRST MEDICAL VERSITY IN ONDO

-      -       Ondo state Governor, Olusegun Mimoko said the establishment of the University of Medical Sciences, UNIMED, was the state’s strategic response to reverse the brain drain in Nigeria’s medical sector.

-      -   Gov. Mimoko said the institution would also create institutional base for the production of proficient health care manpower to service the country.

-       -   The governor stated these over the weekend, during the inauguration and first matriculation of the institution in Ondo.

-      -  Allegedly, the institution is the first specialized Medical University in Nigeria, and the second in Africa.
