The 2016 edition of Spring Arts Festival ended
in Uyo over the weekend with a call on the govt., parents, guardians and
care-givers to encourage children who have the passion for arts and creativity
to express their innate abilities.

The call was made by Dr. Mrs. Wealth Obibi Lead Administrator at Cedar Court British
International School, Uyo at the art exhibition organized by the school to
showcase the artistic prowess of their pupils.

The event climaxed presentation of awards to
best artists and an exhibition where guests bought artworks created by the
children, the proceeds, according to the Lead Administrator will be sent to the
orphanage.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Timi kakandar of the
Nigerian Society of Arts expressed satisfaction over the vision and concept of
the event.
