The Share
community in Ifelodun LGA of Kwara state, yesterday protested against violence
unleashed on the residents by the Tsaragi, a neighbouring community in Edu the
LGA.

This happened as the Kpesumailo’s family of
Shiya in the Baruteen Council decried alleged unlawful arrests by the police on
the order of the Emir of Okuta.

The National Vice President of the Share
descendants’ Union, Mr. Gabriel Jimoh, during the peaceful protest in Ilorin said
aside the loss of lives; three schools were burnt by the Tsaragi during a
communal clash.

According to him, 60 residential houses and 70
shops were burnt, while 30 vehicles were destroyed.
