COMMUNITIES PROTESTS ALLEGED VIOLENCE, INTIMIDATION



-           The Share community in Ifelodun LGA of Kwara state, yesterday protested against violence unleashed on the residents by the Tsaragi, a neighbouring community in Edu the LGA.

-          This happened as the Kpesumailo’s family of Shiya in the Baruteen Council decried alleged unlawful arrests by the police on the order of the Emir of Okuta.
-          The National Vice President of the Share descendants’ Union, Mr. Gabriel Jimoh, during the peaceful protest in Ilorin said aside the loss of lives; three schools were burnt by the Tsaragi during a communal clash.
-          According to him, 60 residential houses and 70 shops were burnt, while 30 vehicles were destroyed.
