DEMOLITION OF ILLEGAL STRUCTURES BEGIN IN CALABAR



-  In Cross River State, the ministry of environment commenced demolition of illegal structures along major roads within the Calabar metropolis.

-  The commissioner for environment, Mr Mike Eraye, said all unauthorized business structures built in the green area within the state capital will be demolished.
-  Areas affected by the demolition exercise included Moore road, Parliamentary road and Goodluck Jonathan bypass, Bedwell street and Calabar South.
-  News correspondence reports that the action is sequel to previous notices earlier given to the general public.
