
- First lady of Cross River state, Dr. Linda Ayade has emphasised the need for students to sleep under treated mosquito nets to prevent malaria.
- She stated this while on a visit to Hope Waddell Training Institute and Holy child Secondary School, both in Calabar.
- Dr Ayade who was represented by an adviser Mrs. Rose Eneji noted sadly that many persons had collected the mosquito nets sometime last year without using it.
- She asked the students to join the Hunt Malaria Intiative (HMI) club and become instrumental in the fight against malaria.
