The Department of State
Services, DSS, has denied that a member of the Ekiti State House of Assembly,
Hon. Akanni Afolabi, who is under detention, is dead.
Debunking the “rumour;"
the secret police affirmed that Afolabi is hale and hearty.
According to the DSS
spokesman, Tony Opuiyo, Hon. Akanni Afolabi, was duly invited over some serious
matters of State security which he has some explanations to make.
He therefore warned all
those who plan to discredit the service to desist from it.
