- Super Eagles are now ranked 62nd in the world and 11th in Africa.
- In Africa, Cape Verde is on top of the ladder and 31st in the world while Ivory Coast is second in Africa and 36 in the world and Algeria third and 37th in the world.
- Belgium is still ranked as the world’s best football nation while Argentina, Spain, Germany, Chile, Brazil and Portugal follows in that order.
