come up with policies that could be implemented to get the country out of its
current economic woes.

Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress – said the economy had
stopped functioning.

NLC and TUC believed that the state of the
economy had not been as bad as the prevailing scenario since the civil war.
