EFCC CONSIDERS PROBE OF IBAKA DEEP SEA PORT

 

-      -     The Economic and Financial Crimes (EFCC) has begun a covert probe into how billions of naira was siphoned by the Godswill Akpabio regime for the construction of the Ibaka Deep Sea Port.

-   -       It is alleged that there are no facts on ground to justify the huge budgetery allocation in the States annual budget spanning a period of over six years.

-      -     Akpabio allegedly got the State House of Assembly to approve billions of naira in the state’s budget under the guise of developing Ibaka Deep Sea Port.

-      -    Preliminary investigation reveals that Akpabio between 2008 and 2015 siphoned N86b from the state treasury under the sub head of feasibility study for Ibaka Deep Sea port.
