EFCC RELEASES AMOSU, OTHERS ON BAIL, SEIZES PASSPORTS

-           The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has released the immediate past Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Adesola  Amosu (retd.), and other senior officers arrested over the $2.1 billion arms scam.

-          Reportedly, former Chief of Accounts and Budgeting of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), Air Vice Marshal J. B. Adigun and former NAF Director of Finance and Budget, Air Commodore O. O. Gbadebo were granted administrative bail alongside Amosu.

-          EFCC was reported to have seized their passports and given them the options of returning the money they allegedly stole.

-          The EFCC had in February seized the properties worth over N5billion from the three senior officers.
