Ekiti State government says the activities of
the Department of State Services (DSS) in the state have created uncertainty,
fear and intimidation.
-
Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Dr.
Modupe Alade made the disclosure during an interview in Akure.
-
According to Alade, the people of the state
would “resist by all means any attempt by the federal government to truncate
democracy in Ekiti.”
-
The SSG spoke in reaction to the continuous
detention of four members of the State House of Assembly by the DSS, despite a
court order to release them.
