- A fresh 11,000 ghost workers are now being
investigated, less than three weeks after Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun blew
the lid over 23,000 ghost workers on the Federal Government payroll.

- The Ministry of Finance is using computer techniques
to investigate the 11,000 affected persons.

- The Minister of Finance said that President
Buhari has approved a Presidential Initiative on continuous Audit, to
strengthen controls of Federal Government expenditures in the country and
enhance transparency.

- The matter has been taken to the Federal
Executive Council (FEC) which has already approved further investigation.
