FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO PRIORITISE OPERATIONS OF POLICE- OSINBAJO

-          Vice President, Yemi Osibanjo has revealed that the federal government will prioritise the reform, re-orientation and equipment of the Nigeria Police.

-          Osinbajo made the promise on Friday at the inauguration of operational vehicles for the deployment of policemen to liberated communities in the North-East.

-          Addressing the occasion, Osinbajo described the Police as “a critical actor in the criminal justice system of the country.”

-          Osinbajo equally noted that the role of the police, prompted President Buhari to approve the recruitment of 10,000 personnel, and extra budgetary attention extended to the police.
