GOVERNOR ROCHAS OKOROCHA RELIEVES SSG OF DUTY

-           Governor Rochas Okoracha of Imo State has announced the immediate sacking of the Secretary to the Government of Imo State (SGI), Sir Jude Ejiogu.

-          The Governor’s directive was repeatedly broadcast on the radio and television channels of Imo Broadcasting Corporation (IBC).

-          The radio and television broadcast, signed by the Principal Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Paschal Obi, the sacking was with immediate effect.

-          Mixed reactions have trailed the sacking of the SGI, with the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftains expressing shock at the sacking, while others noted that Sir Ejiogu should have expected the sacking, and resigned.
