GOVERNOR WIKE TASKS INEC, SECURITY AGENTS TO BE LAW ABIDING



-           Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)   and security agents in the state to work within the law, in the conduct of today’s elections.

-          Governor Wike made the call while receiving the Consul-General of United States, Mr. John Bray, who visited the governor in Port Harcourt.
-          Mr. Bray disclosed that their mission is to observe the election process in the state, to ensure peaceful and credible re-run elections.
-          Pledging the readiness of the electorates towards peaceful and credible elections, Wike commended the U.S. for showing interest in the elections, urging observers to monitor the exercise effectively.
