- Armed hoodlums suspected to be cultist over the weekend
attacked the university of Uyo community living in Urua Ekpa and Itu Road.
- It is gathered that the hoodlums broke into a provision
store and robbed the proprietor of N55, 000, and set a building on fire.
- A witness hinted that the house set ablaze belonged to the
parents of a rival cultist who is alleged to have killed a member of the
rampaging cult and fled.
- The community members are grateful to the police for reacting
swiftly to the situation, but wishes the security mounted in the area should be
sustained.
