- Ahead of Saturday’s senatorial re-run election in Abia north, The Independent National Elecetoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies to bar govt. Officials from result collation centres.
- INEC resident Electoral Commissioner for Abia, Sylvester Eziani gave the information while briefing political parties and security agents at a meeting.
- Says only staff of INEC and those who are directly involved in collation of the results will be allowed into the collation centres.
- Says violators will be arrested and prosecuted.
