INEC GIVES CONDITIONS BEFORE CONCLUDING RIVERS RERUN

-           The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has revealed that it is not hastily going to conclude the State and National Assembly rerun elections in Rivers State, as it is not ready to risk the lives of its staff, stakeholders and partners.

-          In a statement signed by INEC Director, Voter Education and Publicity, Oluwole Osaze-Uzi, the Agency will soon release some of the results already collated.

-          INEC Also stated that it will not conduct elections in any other state where the dominant political culture is a climate of violence, fear and intimidation.

-          Reportedly, INEC restates its decision to uphold the declarations and returns made in the Federal and State constituencies where the exercise was concluded.
