INEC OFFICE DESERTED AS RIVERS APC DEMANDS POLL CANCELLATION

-           The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State has urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to totally cancel the State and National Assembly rerun elections held in the state last Saturday.

-          The State APC Chairman, Dr. Davies Ikanya, while briefing newsmen on Monday, said that the elections were marred by violence and irregularities across the state.

-          Governor Wike said the State government had compiled videos of atrocities committed by the military across state during the rerun elections.

-          According to Wike, the violence allegedly orchestrated by the military in the state is likely a game plan by APC to declare a state of emergency in the state, based on propaganda.
