INFLATION SPIRAL TO 11.4% ON HIGHER FOOD PRICES, IMPORTED GOODS


-        The Central Bank of Nigeria has warned of import induced inflation over the devaluation of the Naira.
-        According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), food prices are in the increase.                -         Food index had risen in February by 11.3 percent up by 0.71 percent from what was recorded in January.                                                                                                                                                 -        The CBN correspondence said in spite of high food prices, Nigerians have continued to buy petrol at high prices.
