Boko Haram insurgents have allegedly abducted 14 women and two girls in
Sabongari Madagali, Madagali LGA, Adamawa State.

The women reportedly in two groups went into the
forest (in search of firewood and farm produce) and river (for fishing),
accompanied by two local vigilante operatives.

Sighting the assailants in their numbers and
armory, the two local vigilante operatives ran away, for fear of being killed
by the rampaging terrorists.

In confirmation, member representing
Michika/Madagali Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Mr. Adamu
Kamale said he has received the shocking news of the abduction of 16 women.
