NATIONAL ASSEMBLY TO PASS 2016 BUDGET TODAY

-           Both chambers of the legislature on Tuesday, received a report from the Senate and House of Representatives Joint Committee on Appropriation.

-          The report contained the corrected total budget figure of N6.07 trillion as presented to the National Assembly by President Buhari.

-          Strong indications emerged that the two chambers of the Legislature would likely pass the 2016 budget today (Wednesday, March 23, 2016).

-          Reportedly, the upper chamber may hold two sessions on Wednesday to enable it pass the fiscal document.
