of the National Caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC) reportedly stated
on Tuesday night that there will be no vacancy in 2019.

Allegedly, they were trying to lure President
Buhari to nurse a second term ambition.

The national caucus of APC comprising of
governors (past and serving), the National Assembly leadership and some members
of the national executive of the party, at a meeting said a second term for
Buhari would help stabilize the polity.

The national
chairman of APC, Chief John Oyegun has dismissed allegations of threat against
his position, just as the caucus constituted a committee to resolve all pending
issues in the party.
