-          The Clan Head of Offot Ukwa, His Royal Highness Etebom Sylvanus Okon (JP), began tour of 22 villages that make up his domain on Monday march 14^th 2016.

-          The Monarch visited Nsukara Offot, Use Atai Offot and Use Offot on the first day of his tour, where he held town hall meetings with members of the community.

-          In a separate town hall meeting, the Monarch entertained one major issue concerning the encroachment of the University of Uyo on the land of villages around it.

-          Reacting, the Vice Chancellor of UNIUYO stressed that the University did not acquire building plots from the community, but from the AKS government.
