NYPF TO LAUNCH N.5 BN GRANT FOR ENTREPRENEURS, STUDENTS

-           As part of efforts to grow more indigenous entrepreneurs and deepen the Nigerian economy, the Nigeria Young Professional Forum (NYPR) in partnership with Heritage Bank , is set to launch N500 million special seed fund (YESGrant) for young Nigerians on March 22, 2016.

-          The Director of Communications, Miss Owomilere Obe said the scheme was borne out of need to address the enormous challenges encountered by young entrepreneurs in establishing small scale business.

-           According to her, the grant will enable young entrepreneurs with creative ideas in ICT, Agriculture or creative Industry, to start or expand their business concepts.

-          Miss Obe said the grant will equally provide over 500 Nigerian students, locally and abroad, with tuition to pursue their academic dreams in research and technological/scientific innovation.
