PARTY LEADER OPENS UP ON ALLEGED MASS DEFECTION IN LABOUR PARTY.

-          The leader of Labour Party, Akwa Ibom State Chapter, Comrade Stern Etim has explained that for the purpose of clarification and posterity, the party has to put the record straight by correcting the false and misleading information published in one of the state based local tabloids.

-          There had been a publication in one of the local tabloids captioned “Chapter Chairmen of Labour Party decamped enmasse to Hope Democracy Party”.

-          Comrade stern Etim hinted that the alleged mass defection never took place adding that they were only dismissed alongside the former state Chairman, Mr. Lincoln Charles.

-          He also revealed that the alleged defectors were expelled due to anti-party activities and misappropriation of party funds.
