PDP STAKEHOLDERS TO UDOM

-          The aspiration of a former member of the House of Representatives, Chief (Dr.) Esio Oquong Udoh and his supports to take control of the PDP in Urueffong/ Oruko LGA by proclaiming himself “leader” has suffered a serious setback as members of the party in the LGA has refused to recognized his leadership.

-          Speaking separately to journalist, members described the attempt to impose Dr. Esio Oquong Udoh on them as a move to finally bury the party in the LGA.
-          They described Dr. Oquong Udoh as very unpopular politician who takes what belongs to people for himself and family, even though he had served as pioneer elected Chairman of the Council and two times member of the House of Representative.
-          They recalled that after his tenure as Chairman in 1993, he left a whopping debt of over N15m, which successive administrations struggled to pay until a few years ago.
