- Reports have it that abductors of three schoolgirls from Babington Macauly Junior seminary in Ikorodu Lagos are demanding a N300M ransom.
- Regardless, the Lagos State Governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode has launched a massive rescue mission for the abducted girls.
- It is gathered that it is not the first time the school is under attack, as sometime last year armed bandits had struck the school but could not succeed.
- School activities are yet to resume in the school, and there is a police patrol in the area round the clock.
