SECOND ROUND NIPDS UNDERWAY

-          Parents and care givers have been advised to bring out their children and wards from 0-59 months of age for immunization during the Second Round National Immunization Plus Days (NIPDs) scheduled for 19th to 22nd March 2016.

-          The A’Ibom State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Dominic Ukpong gave the advice recently in his office while speaking on the forth coming NIPDs.

-          According to the Commissioner, children will be immunized against polio myelitis, measles, hepatitis, diphtheria, tetanus and yellow fever.

-          The immunization exercise will be held in all health facilities and immunization centres, immunization is free, safe and has no adverse effect on the child.
