Parents
and care givers have been advised to bring out their children and wards from
0-59 months of age for immunization during the Second Round National
Immunization Plus Days (NIPDs) scheduled for 19th to 22nd March 2016.

The
A’Ibom State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Dominic Ukpong gave the advice
recently in his office while speaking on the forth coming NIPDs.

According
to the Commissioner, children will be immunized against polio myelitis,
measles, hepatitis, diphtheria, tetanus and yellow fever.

The
immunization exercise will be held in all health facilities and immunization
centres, immunization is free, safe and has no adverse effect on the child.
