STUDENT PROTEST SUSPENSION OF MUSLIM ASSOCIATION IN UNILAG





-     -     Students of the University of Lagos, Akoka, on Wednesday protest against the suspension of the activities of the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria by the school’s management.

-    -      Our correspondent gathered that the protest started around 7am after the students finished observing Subuhi (early Morning Prayer) n the university’s mosque.
-    -      PUNCH Metro learnt that the activities of the MSSN were suspended in November 2015, after the student’s resisted alleged attempt by some lecturers to interfere in the administration of the society.
-       -   The executive of the association was reportedly dissolved by the management a few months ago, while a new one had yet to elected.
