TROOPS KILL BOKO HARAM COMMANDER, 18 OTHERS IN BORNO



-           The Nigerian Army troops reportedly killed one of the top commanders of Boko Haram sect during an operation on Sunday.

-          The Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman said the sect commander, known as Ameer of Dalore was killed alongside 18 others during a clearing operation conducted by men of the 22 Brigade Garrison.
-          Usman revealed that the troop also rescued 67 hostages from the Boko Haram sect.
-          According to him, the troops recovered two AK-47 Rifles, one small Machine Gun, one Hand Grenade and four pickup vehicles.
