The
Nigerian Army troops reportedly killed one of the top commanders of Boko Haram
sect during an operation on Sunday.

The Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col.
Sani Usman said the sect commander, known as Ameer of Dalore was killed
alongside 18 others during a clearing operation conducted by men of the 22
Brigade Garrison.

Usman revealed that the troop also rescued 67
hostages from the Boko Haram sect.

According to him, the troops recovered two AK-47
Rifles, one small Machine Gun, one Hand Grenade and four pickup vehicles.
