WOMEN’S INVOLVEMENT IN TRICYCLE

-          Tricycle popularly known as “keke “ is a means of transportation which is used to convey people (passengers) to their destination.

-          It was introduced by the Gov. Godswill Akpabio’s administration to empower the people of A’Ibom State and to reduce the rate of accident and traffic jam caused by motorcyclist.
-          It is not news however that the tricycling business has helped many men fend for themselves, what is news rather is that women have begun to tap into the opportunities embedded in the business.
-          Before going further, it is salient to stress on the need for women to be involved in tricycling, instead of sitting back idle at home, women should make at least 50% of keke riders in the state.
