Reportedly, the Progressive Akwa People’s
Assembly (PAPA), a frontline socio- political group in AKS has warned Prince
Uwem Ita Etuk, Commissioner for Lands and Town Planning about the future of Uyo
Senatorial District election come 2019.

The group described the Commissioner as a
distraction and a rabble rouser in the Uyo polity.

The Director General of PAPA, Hon Prince Obot
James, described Etuk’s comment during an empowerment programme as misleading,
emphasizing that he had no right to make such unguarded utterances.

He advised Mr. Uwem Ita Etuk to be wiser and
better guarded, when making comments.
