The ongoing Civil Service screening in Kogi
state has thrown up more shocking revelations of ghost workers in the payroll
of the state.
-
Report revealed two weeks ago that the registrar
of the Kogi state college of education was found to have issued out 200 letters
of employment on the eve of the screening ordered by the state governor.
-
Speaking on Saturday, the Kogi state governor,
Alhaji Yahaya Bello said his administration will not tolerate those behind the
ghost workers scam.
-
The governor said it is ridiculous to discover
that a single person, without the fear of God, planted as many as 300 ghost
workers in the payroll of a Local Government.
CULLED FROM THE PUNCH
