AKSG AGRICULTURAL REVOLUTION

-     -     The Special Assistant to Gov. Udom on Agricultural Projects, Mr Armstrong Moses, has visited Ibeno fishing port as part of his agricultural monitoring and sensitization programme.

-     -     Receiving the Governor’s Aide, the Chairman of Ibeno LG Transition Committee, represented by the Council Supervisor on Agriculture, Hon. Bassey, welcomed Hon. Armstrong Moses and his team to Ibeno.

-     -     The Chairman’s Aide said that most people know Ibeno for only crude oil and fishing, but in the real sense Ibeno was a major agricultural centre in Akwa Ibom State.

-       -   He said apart from fishing, Ibeno LGA are major Producer of Palm Produce, noting that the coming of the Governor’s Aide to visit the farmers and fishermen in the area was a welcome development.
