AMEACHI ISSUES 2 WEEKS ULTIMATUM TO FREIGHT FORWARDERS



  • Minister of Transport, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi has asked all freight forwarding associations to sort all pending issues with the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN).
  • The Minister gave the freight forwarding and Customs brokers associations two weeks to resolve their differences.
  • Companies who are not cleared at the expiration of the ultimatum will have to undergo fresh registration with the CRFFN.
  • The Minister gave this directive at a conference on Improved Ports Efficiency in Nigeria, organised by the Maritime Correspondents Organisation of Nigeria (MARCON).
