CHRISTIAN YOUTHS INTERCEDE FOR REV. KING

-           Nigerian Youths for Christ have appealed to President Buhari and Governor Ambode, to commute the dead sentence on the Founder and General Overseer of Christian Praying Assembly, Rev. Chukwuemeka Ezeugo, a.k.a. Rev. King.

-          Rising from an emergency meeting in Calabar, the youths said they based their call on the biblical injunction of giving an offender a chance to repent.
-          The youths believe that during investigations, Rev. King had gone through traumatic ordeals that must have made him repent.
-          The youths noted that many countries are avoiding outright condemnation of suspects to death, enjoining Nigeria not to be an exception.
