COMMUNITY POLICING IS BEST FOR POLICE PARTNERSHIP IN NIGERIA

-          - The Chairman, Forum of Host Communities Neighbourhood Watch Coordinators (FHCNWC) in Abak, Prince Nsikan Ibanga has said that the only way for effective partnership between the traditional institutions and any law enforcement agency is the implementation of community policing in Nigeria.

-         -  Prince Ibanga explained that communities should be consulted by the police who should make them part and parcel of their respective policing concerns and challenges.
-         -  He stated this during a two-day sensitization/training workshop on Public Police Community Partnership in Akwa Ibom.

-          - The workshop was organized by Community Policing partners for Justice, Security and Democratic Reforms (COMPPART).
