INEC POSTPONES ANAMBRA SENATORIAL RERUN ELECTION

• The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has postponed the conduct of the re-run election for Anambra Central Senatorial District.
• The re-run wasearlier scheduled for Saturday, 5 March 2016
• According to INEC’s bulletin the postponement is in view of a court order issued today by an Abuja High Court restraining it.
• The National Commissioner in charge of the Operations Committee, Hajiya Amina Bala Zakari, says the Commission is yet to determine a new date for the conduct of the said election.
