The Lagos state Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode
has ordered the immediate evacuation of occupants of Lekki Gardens for
immediate intergrity test after the collapse of a six floor building in Lekki
Garden.

34 people are reportedly killed and dozens
wounded.

The Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio has
distanced himself from ownership of the said estate.

The Lagos State Government has ordered the
sealing of the site and cessation of further construction.
