MILITARY INTENSIFIES ATTACK AGAINST TERRORISTS IN BORNO


  • -      The Nigerian military over the weekend deployed 121 Task Force Battalion, 26 Task Force Brigade, on clearance in Borno State.
  • -      The Director of Army Public Relations (DAPR), Col. Sani Usman, says the military troops cleared Dure 1, Dure 2 and Jango, Dibiye and other suspected Boko Haram terrorists hideouts within the area.
  • -      Says the troops killed several terrorists and recovered two hand held Motorola radios, materials for making improvised explosive devices and destroyed several grains storage facilities.
  • -      He however hinted that, the troops met stiff resistance from the terrorists during the encounter with the military recording three non-fatal casualties.
