N30M CONTRACT SCAM LANDS PDP STALWART IN TROUBLE WITH UDOM

- For Obong Saturday Michael Akpan, a People’s Democratic Party Stalwart from Ukanafun LGA, it is a season of chronic headache, for poor contract performance.

-          - He allegedly scammed the state govt. of Thirty Million Naira (30M) in the name of a classroom block contract at QIC central school, Ikpa Akpa Nkuk.

-          - The contract is said to be done without the prescribed quantity of materials, specification and design.

-          - A source at the site revealed that apart from being economical with the quantity of cement, the planks used for roofing are said to be substandard which can easily cave in shortly after the contract is delivered to the govt.
