ROBBERS ATTACK BANK, CART AWAY AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINES

-  Armed men suspected to be militants, yesterday launched attack on a bank at the university town of Amassoma, Southern Ijaw LGA oF Bayelsa State.

-  The invaders, about 12 in number, and armed with sophisticated weapons and dynamites, reportedly stormed the riverside Community at about 12:35 a.m. through the waterways.
-  It is alleged that though men of the Amassoma Police Division engaged the invaders in a gun battle, the hoodlums overpowered the policemen.
-  The hoodlums allegedly shot their way to the bank, causing the security guards to scamper for help.
