- The senate is dissatisfied at with the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) over abandoned projects in the region after mobilisation fees have been paid.
- Sen. Peter Nwaoboshi stated this yesterday when the senate committee on Niger delta visited the commission in Port Harcourt.
- The senator noted that the Commission pays huge sums of money to contractors, who abandon the projects halfway and abscond with the money.
- He hinted that the committee is awash with petitions against the commission.
