UMANA UMANA DENIES DEFEAT AT SUPREME COURT

-          The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in the last general elections in Akwa Ibom State, Obong Umana Okon Umana has assured his supporters that APC is working hard to regain its rightful position, saying that the party did not lose at the Supreme Court.

-          Obong Umana stated this during a campaign rally in Ibesikpo for the State Constituency re-run election slated for March 12.

-          He noted that what happened at the Supreme Court was a miscarriage of justice, but added that the All Progressives Congress is still in charge of the Federal Government.

-          He further stated that the outcome of the Supreme Court ruling cannot dampen the resolve of Akwa Ibom people to realize their dream of a free, liberated and prosperous state with a government that is responsive to the yearnings and aspirations of the people.
