WHY NIGERIA JOINED ISLAMIC COALITION AGAINST TERROR- PRESIDENT

-          President Mohammadu Buhari had over the weekend revealed that Nigeria has joined the Islamic coalition against terrorism formed by Saudi Arabia.

-          The President said that Nigeria is a part of the coalition because “… we are casualties of Islamic terrorism.”

-          Buhari who granted interview to Aljazeera however refused to disclose how the coalition would work for Nigeria.

-          Reacting to complain from Christians, President Buhari enjoined the trust and support of Nigerians, stressing that his move was not to make Nigeria an Islamic state.
