WOMAN DUMPED IN WELL OVER WITCHCRAFT ACCUSATION

- A 40-something old woman dumps her over 70-year-old mother, Mrs Mfon Thompson Udofia into a deep well for allegedly being a witch.

-          - She was dumped in a well which used to be the source of portable water, until the advent of boreholes rendered it desolate in Ikot Obio Inyang village in Etinan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

-          - It took a combined effort of fire servicemen from Etinan and Uyo to haul out the woman.

-          - After being hauled out, it was discovered the victim was from a neighbouring village, Ikot Oku Nsit, in Nsit Ibom Local Government Area.
