ZOO ASSOCIATION CALLS FOR IMPROVED FUNDING TO BOOST ECONOMY

 

-           The Nigeria Association of Zoological Gardens (NAZG) has called for closer attention and proper funding, for veritable ecological heritages.

-          The group hopes that eco-tourism will help Buhari’s government to diversify the economy as well as provide satisfying visitor’s experiences.

-          According to NAZG, proper funding of Zoological gardens and Parks in Nigeria will reduce the burden of mono economy by attracting more capital investment and generating more foreign currency.

-          The association’s call, formed part of a 15 point communiqué issued at the end of its National Executive Council’s two- day working visit to Jos, Plateau State.
